A simplified process to creating luxurious portraits of your horse.
These sessions are completed in the comfort of your own barn, only requiring a shaded doorway to the barn or arena (NO spooky backdrops or flashing lights!). You hold the lead rope, and we’ll use a lifetime of equine behavior knowledge to pose your horse in ways that highlight their best features for breed standards, riding disciplines, or to match their beloved personality. From there, your images are highly retouched with a backdrop added in post production.
These photographs, often enlarged as Fine Art become the centerpiece of your home, creating conversation for all who visit. With a sleek look, these pieces are easy to incorporate into any modern or rustic home!

Not in love with the traditional black or white backgrounds? That’s okay! We can photograph your horse throughout the farm property, capturing the same classic poses using natural backgrounds.

Want to include your dog in your Equine Portraits? Bring them along and have them photographed as well! All animals are photographed individually to ensure safety and happy expressions with compositions created in post production. Available only as an add on to Equine Portrait Sessions.

Textured Backdrop | +$100
For those who are looking to elevate your Equine Portraits.
Textured backgrounds allow you to further customize your portraits, to match your home decor, or make them POP in sales ads. Available in any color.
Please request upon booking or prior to the beginning of your session.
Holiday Portrait | $40+
Festive wreaths and background lights are digitally added in post production to your images!
This feature is available for all clients who have previously enjoyed an Equine Portrait session, or are planning ahead for the holidays and want to include a holiday edit in their Equine Portrait Package.
Holiday edits are $40 per individual edit or $75 for a composition or 2+ horses.
C O M P O S I T I O N S
Compositions are complimentary for clients who book multiple portrait sessions. All horses are photographed individually for safety purposes, with compositions created in post production. If photographing horses at different times or locations, please inquire about creating compositions prior to beginning the photoshoot.
Best time for Equine Portraits
Horse’s look best when photographed in their sleek summer coats. If your horse likes to play rough in the pastures, or you would like to avoid sun bleaching or a bug bitten coat, I would HIGHLY recommend booking your session following the shedding season or a week after being clipped.
Please keep in mind that I book 3-4 MONTHS in advance!

travel
The first hour of total travel from North Muskegon, MI., is complimentary. Every additional hour of travel is accompanied with a $45/hr fee. Sessions outside of Michigan will have a flat rate of $300 to cover travel costs.
