I had the pleasure of meeting Miss. Avery and her best friend Kit last fall during a model call for my publication work. I fell in love with photographing these two and was overjoyed when they called to book a Spring photoshoot! The relationship these two have with each other is one that every little girl dreams of having with her horse. The way Kit dips his head to Avery as she talks to him, the way he closes his eyes when she kisses him, the gentleness Avery has when she reaches for Kit, and the calmness the two share when they are next to each other is magical. They share such intimate moments, that I struggled to interrupt their whispers to have Avery look at the camera for traditional portraits. All I wanted to do was follow them around and photograph the love they have for one another. These two always leave me excited to photograph their next chapter, the next adventures, and the endless moments of joy these two share.
