When visiting ATG Equestrian, a jumping training barn in Wellington Florida, I had the opportunity to meet Abby and learn about the new horse! Her sweet and gentle bay, named Phoebe, had just arrived at the barn a week prior, and Abby was over the moon excited about their new adventures together during the Wellington Equestrian Festival (WEF).

She wasn’t on my schedule to be photographed, but I had to return to her barn later that week to photograph another Horse & Rider Session, and was able to squeeze a 20 minute photoshoot in for Abby and Phoebe.

The property was a bit limited, as the sun was higher during that time of day, and the arena was in use for riding lessons. We opted to photograph next to the barn to capture the pink flowers and iconic Florida palms, along the drive way with the moss covered oaks, and then when the riding lessons were changing on the hour, we snuck into the corner of the riding arena to photograph them along the fence line with the purple flowers!
