These were just a few of the things that Laura said while we were photographing her family, horses and dog at Double Stone Farm in Plainwell, Michigan. Both Laura and her daughter, Harper, are dressage riders, and knowing we could easily work with their dog as well, they knew that J.Klein Photos was their number one choice for family photos!
We had a long list of photo requests focusing on the family altogether, individual relationships between family members and animals, and Harper’s memories growing up riding along side of her mom. Every member and animal had their own personality, individual needs and requests. Having the background as a dressage rider myself, specializing in behavioral training with dogs, and the experience of working with varying client personalities, I was able to create an environment where all participants felt comfortable, and their authentic personalities and relationships were present for me to photograph.
