Finn, is a two year old mahogany Belgian Malinois. He is owned and loved by my best friend, Veronica, is my corgi Winston’s best friend in the world, and has earned the same level of love that I have for Winston. Never did I think I would love a Mal like this (they are WAY too much dog for me personally), but Finn has stolen my heart.
The four of us, Veronica, Finn, Winston and myself, have been doing regular dog training together for the past two years, taking the boys on adventures, reaching new training goals, and loving life through the eyes of our dogs.
In the rare weeks that the business is slower, I enjoy bringing my camera along and photographing Finn. He is a missile power house, intensely dedicated to protect, a total psychco when it comes to trees and sticks, and a complete goofball klutz when he’s not paying attention to coordinating his long legs. 😆 Whether it’s doing scent work in the woods, practicing obedience along the paved trailed, dock diving on the lake, or letting loose on the beach, I always have so much fun photographing Finn!
I know these memories, captured through fine art images of her dog, mean just as much to Veronica as they do to me, and it’s been an honor capturing the growth of Finn over the years. These are a few of my favorite images from the past several photoshoots at local Muskegon, Michigan parks.
