I know Great Danes are BIG, but whenever I meet one for a photoshoot, I am always surprised at their size. Maybe it’s because I’m used to my Pembroke Corgi, with short legs and a nubby tail. 😆

I had the pleasure of meeting Melanie and her AKC Great Dane, Mondo, for a photoshoot at the gardens in Lansing, to celebrate his first birthday, and to capture the milestones of their showing career and relationship together. Mondo was a superstar for his shoot, posing perfectly amongst the gardens, along the pathways, and showing off his agility in the green grass. He even threw in a few of his own poses, including the Scooby-Doo stretched stack (which made all of us laugh!) and his leaps straight into the air!

Enjoying the relaxing and laid back flow to the photoshoot, Melanie even stepped in for a few photos with Mondo, so I could capture the love they have for one another.

“I scheduled a photo session with Jesse for my Great Dane puppy’s first birthday!

Jesse did great in capturing his personality while keeping the session fun and engaging for him! The pictures turned out stunning and I’m having trouble narrowing it down to my original package size!

Jesse even played with him at the end and started teaching him roll over which he absolutely loved and remembered 3 weeks later when I decided to build on it!

We will definitely be repeat customers!
