Hope and her Solid Gold Samoyed, Ocean, enjoy multiple photoshoots with me each year in Muskegon, Michigan. They have even modeled during two dog photography workshops that I’ve taught too!

Hope usually has goals in mind for her photoshoot, but is always open and eager to allow me to create photos I’ve personally been thinking about, or additional photos I can use as educational material for when I teach other photographers. We almost always photograph Hope’s relationship with her Samoyed, as well as images that capture Ocean stacked, trotting, demonstrating new or favorite tricks, creative portraits using the urban landscape, and if Hope’s hubby is around, I always include him in a few family photos too. Because we photograph so often, I have started keeping a personal list of photography goals, that I know I can accomplish with this dynamic duo! It keeps me dreaming, fuels my creativity, and provides Hope with a fresh collection of new images, no matter how many times we get together for fun photos every year.

Having a client return for photoshoots, let alone multiple in a year, is a wonderful compliment to the experience I offer and the photos I provide. Having clients who are relaxed, fun and as in love with dogs as I am, always makes my job more enjoyable. I look forward to working with Hope and Ocean every season, and am already counting down the days until our next photoshoot. 💕
