We had a successful photoshoot with Jiliann and her dressage pony, Dori, at Deermeadow Farm in Wellington, Florida! Jiliann and Dori kindly volunteered to model for an educational project, in which I was gathering photographs that showed examples of how to properly pose a horse and rider together for a photoshoot, for my downloadable Horse & Rider Posing Guide. This guide goes into the nitty gritty details to transform good photos to spectacular photos, making every client feel like and look like a supermodel in their photos. This guide will be available on the educational page of my website next month (January 2026), for fellow photographers who are looking to level up their work!

“I was so excited to have a photo shoot with my childhood pony, but also nervous because I tend to be awkward and not sure how to look or act. Jesse took all my nerves away and made it a fun enjoyable time where I could love on my pony as if she wasn’t taking photos of us! The results are incredible.
