Meet Madi & Misty! Another wonderful pair that I have had the pleasure of photographing over the years.

Misty has a special place in my heart, being my last pony that I worked with and rode. She was an amish cart pony until she found herself tangled up in an accident on the road with the cart flipped behind her. Then, being no use to the amish, she was rescued by a local trainer and rehabbed back to health. She loves to jump, to be scratched on her belly, and to have one special girl to shower her with love.
This is exactly what Madi has given Misty.

I can not tell you how seeing their bond grow over the years warms my heart and puts my mind to ease. Misty has a calmness about her when she is around Madi, and even though she can still be a spunky, unpredictable pony, you can see she loves her girl and would do anything for her.

We spent the first half of our photoshoot bushwhacking down old trails to find the perfect lighting for a fairy tale look. Then saddled the pony up and photographed the impressive under saddle skills and manners Misty has learned from Madi since I saw them last!

This photoshoot was booked for my Maine Trip! I am based out of Western Michigan but with continual interest from clients in Maine, I will be offering ONE WEEK of photoshoots annually!
