Jess has an incredible eye for composition, lighting, and timing. She doesn’t just take photos—she creates art. Her efficiency in getting the desired poses and her ability to capture both the cheeky personality and athletic grace of my appaloosa pony Rye in the session blew me away. Nitro-cat’s (a charcoal snow lynx bengal cat) personality is as loud as his spots when we are at home, but he struggles with big social anxiety when it comes to strangers. Jess was so patient, gentle, and in tune with what he needed during our session. She helped try and create a calm, safe space that let him just be. Even though we had to keep his session short, she still captured him so beautifully.
But what sets her apart even further is her Photoshop wizardry. The post-processing work is flawless—elevating already beautiful shots into polished, magazine-worthy portraits without ever losing the authenticity of the moment. Every detail, from fur texture to whisker highlights to dramatic backdrops, is enhanced with such a refined touch.
