Sometimes I show up to a Horse & Rider photoshoot that is supposed to be short and sweet, but ends up taking longer - simply because the moments unfolding before the camera are too precious not to photograph. This usually means the client’s gallery is 2-3x larger than initially promised, allowing clients to pick and choose their favorite images, or upgrade to receive all full collection.

Addie and Tide’s photoshoot is a perfect example!

Tide, a young welsh hunter pony, had enough attitude for everyone present at the shoot, but Addie kept smiling and continued to stay relaxed in the love she had for her pony. This allowed me to work around the pony sass, and photograph a variety of images that capture their bond, through details and wide angles, in golden sun and saturated colors, within the riding arena and throughout the farm property.

It resulted in some of my favorite photos from this season in Wellington, Florida!
